Umicat
Introduction

Create your account

Sign-up paths, onboarding, and what your account is used for.

You need a Umicat account to create projects, save work, publish games, and earn play counts on your published games. Players of your published games do not need to sign up to play.

Sign-up paths

Two paths, same destination.

Continue with Google

One click. Click Continue with Google on the sign-in page, pick your Google account, and you're in. Umicat stores nothing from Google beyond your email and display name; we don't keep your Google token.

If an email/password account already exists at the same email, the two are auto-linked into one Umicat account — you can sign in with either method going forward.

Email and password

Click Sign up on the sign-in page. Enter an email and a password (8+ chars, mixed case, at least one digit). You'll get a six-digit confirmation code by email; paste it back in to activate the account.

Forgotten password: Sign in → Forgot password? sends a reset code.

Onboarding

First-time accounts land on the onboarding form before the home page. You pick:

FieldWhat it's for
Display nameShown on your profile page, on every game card you publish, on comments you leave. Can be changed later in Settings → Account.
UsernameThe handle for your public profile URL: <Domain />/user/{username}. Must be [a-z][a-z0-9_]{2,19}. The form checks availability live as you type. Permanent — pick carefully.
AvatarOptional. Pre-filled from Google if you used Google sign-in. Otherwise default initial-based avatar; upload your own from Settings → Account later.
BioOptional, 500 chars. Shown on your public profile. Markdown not supported (plain text).

After submit, you're on the home page. Welcome.

What your account is used for

  • Creating and editing projects. Every project is owned by exactly one account. You can invite collaborators (see Collaborators).
  • Credit balance. Every agent turn costs credits. See Plans and credits.
  • Likes, favorites, comments. Things you do on other people's published games are signed by your account.
  • Notifications. If someone invites you to a project, comments on your game, or replies to a support ticket — you see it in the bell icon in the header.
  • Save data ownership. When you play someone else's published game and the game uses Save data, your save is tied to your account, not the device.

Settings

<Domain />/settings has five tabs:

  • Account — display name, bio, avatar.
  • Credit Usage — balance, history, per-turn deductions, top-up button.
  • Billing — purchase history and downloadable receipts.
  • Help & Support — open / view support tickets.
  • General — language, theme (System / Light / Dark).

Sign out and account deletion

Sign out: click your avatar (top-right) → Sign out.

Account deletion: file a support ticket from Settings → Help & Support. We process within 7 days.
